Brand Identity Design for Café Brand MANYMORE

As a brand identity designer, it is always a great feeling to work with clients who have a purpose beyond just making profits. #manymore is a café bar that stands out in this regard, with a mission to support local social enterprises and give back to the community through its profits. In this portfolio page, we will highlight the brand identity design project we undertook for #manymore and the impact it has had on their brand.

The Brief

#manymore was founded with a desire to make a difference in the lives of those in need. They wanted to create a space where people could come together and enjoy good coffee and drinks while also supporting a good cause. The founders approached us with a brief to create a brand identity that would reflect their mission and values, and appeal to their target audience.

The Research

Before diving into the design process, we took the time to understand #manymore and their target audience. We looked at the local social enterprise scene, and the types of café bars that were popular in the area. We also spoke to the founders to understand their vision for the brand and what they wanted to achieve.

The Design

Based on our research, we created a brand identity that was bespoke, calm, and premium. We used a color palette of warm navy tones to evoke a feeling of comfort and connection, while a simple lowercase serif font conveyed a sense of professionalism and sophistication.

The logo was designed to be heartfelt and memorable, featuring a stylized representation a “more” ‘+’ symbol integrated into the branding. The “+” symbol represents the brand’s commitment to giving back more to the community, and the not for profit café aspect of the business.

We also designed a range of brand assets, including business cards, illustrative menus, and signage, to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand experience for customers.

The Outcome

Since launching the new brand identity, #manymore has seen a significant increase in foot traffic and customer engagement. The warm and welcoming brand image has resonated with customers, and the café bar has become a popular destination for those looking to support a good cause while enjoying a delicious coffee or drink.

The founders have reported that the new brand identity has helped to attract new customers and build a loyal following. They have also been able to successfully communicate their mission and values to customers, and the profits generated have been able to support local community programs targeting youth, poverty, and those in need.

Conclusion

The #manymore brand identity design project was a rewarding experience for us as designers. It was a privilege to work with a brand that is making a positive impact in the community, and it was gratifying to see the impact that the new brand identity has had on the business.
